Good Day

I completed my 6 months Mathematics course with Unisa which was a prerequisite for me to gain access to study my Economics degree in 2014. However I fell ill on one of the days that I was meant to write one of the 4 modules which were prescribed.

I sent the institution my doctors forms and all supporting documents that were required for me to write a special exam. I passed all three of the exams which I did manage to write and very well at that, upon getting my results the exams department also sent the date of my sick test which falls on the last day of registration with UNISA, this is so unfair as other tertiary institutions have these supplementary exams for the reasons that students do not lose out on registering for the following year. I then went to the Florida regional offices stood in a queue for 5 hours only to be rudely told by one of the consultants that I cannot register for this semester as I have not written the last module which was no fault of my own.

Unisa who have since cancelled all telephonic communication take over 3 days to respond to peoples mails this has been such a disheartening experience for me.
