Horrible response time from UNISA

Having registered with UNISA and paid the applicable fees for this, I was told that the i did not qualify to study towards the registered course, this upsets me as this was only communicated to me well after the registrahtion closing date. I then went to the JHB Branch/office where one of the consultants told me that they can no longer make changes to the qualifications/course registered for. Does this now mean that i have to lose out on a year of studying because of this? Kindly urgently assist
