I am so fed up with Unisa! My fianc? is in the process of doing his HR Degree through Unisa, but he had to redo his Maths first. Now that we want to register him, I was told that we "must be patient for the exam marks, and you have to come to one of our centres to register him, because there are things that must be changed on the mainframe and only we can register him for the English and his other subjects". Isn't Unisa supposed to be USERFRIENDLY? Every time I phone and check the website for the exam marks, there is still nothing. How long can it really take to mark the exams which were written in May already? I understand there are a lot of students but really?! Now we must wait until whoever is finished with marking everything and then he can take a day off to drive through to Potchefstroom and register. Can't they understand that we are WORKING AND WE CANNOT TAKE LEAVE AS IT SUITS US, THAT IS WHY WE PICKED UNISA, AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HASSLE FREE. SOMEHOW IT IS ALSO UNCOMPREHENSIBLE OT CERTAIN PEOPLE THAT WE HAVE TO TRAVEL BETWEEN CITIES TO REGISTER AS THERE IS NOT A CENTRE IN KLERKSDORP, AND IT IS EXTRA TRAVELLING COSTS TO US?
