I registered for 3 subjects for Semester 1 2013, to study in SA but Unisa charged me 3 x foreign levies.
I wrote to Finance asking them to please credit my account as I was incorrectly billed.
Study fees were due end March & MYUNISA reflected I owed UNISA /- R2500.
I noticed the foreign levies still had not been credited to my account.
Unisa owed me R2700 so I was not prepared to pay an additional R2500 (money i dont have) when my account was actually supposed to be in R200 credit.
Approx 2 days after the fees were due my account was credited and is now in credit of R300 with nothing owing (according to MYUNISA).
2 weeks ago I was contacted by a law firm in CT to do my articles in 2014 - they need my academic transcript.
The 2 transcripts UNISA sent me reflect my 2013 subjects as financially cancelled!
I have written to numerous departments, including Finance AGAIN as per instructions by UNISA CT, several times over the last 2 weeks & no one can help me by supplying a CORRECT transcript.
I might lose this job opportunity over this delay but no one cares for the urgency of my situation.
'Cancelled' looks bad on a transcript.
I need a new transcript ASAP!
