I have been studing with unisa since 2011 and i am happy i am left with my last few modules because i have realised a lot of loopholes about it. Firstly i have been attending extra lessons so that i can be able to perform well in my assignments which means that i have worked together with other students so that we can be able to understand our work better. I am writing particularly about STA1510. This module had 3 assignments for 1st semester and i worked hard on them with my study group where we ended up having more or less similar solutions and thats because we were tutored by the same person. but then what had me shocked is when our assignments came back i mean 2 of them were multiple choice and 1 was written. my question is how could people that had 90% the same solutions have different marks??? one scoring very high asin 80% and the other scoring low as 30%. This I believe shows that the service we are given as students might aswell come across as useless. Marking system at unisa and you end up questioning a lot of things. In a situation like this you want to submit for a remark but when one thinks that it is going to take another 5mnths what the point???
