I've done some homework on paving and despite the complaint's about SA Paving on HelloPeter, I've decided to give them the opportunity to do a small job for me. So I'm doing this a little differently to what normally transpires here on HelloPeter. James, the Salesman has promised me that I will benefit from their 25 years in the industry, that they're a professional bunch with Supervisors, Foremen and contractors who take ownership of the job and leave customers satisfied with sparkling jobs, and that the final payment only goes through once I'm completely satisfied, ...so I believed his promises and signed the contract. I accepted his price of R20 000, without haggling. It's a small job and a challenge, as drainage is important, I made that clear. A small job is an indicator of how they will do a big job. So far they've done well in getting me signed up, I believed them and I've paid them 50%. This will be a fair test of their product and commitment to do quality work. How will they fare...? Time will tell.
