On first day, after 2 weeks of taking 50% deposit, he took the 68 doors away and came 3 days later at 10h00 with 2 men [one of whom had 2 terribly shaky hands like one who has Parkinsons ] whom he fetched at 13h30 . In 3.5 hours he expected them to have sanded all the frames and applied an undercoat to all of the them. He did not check the work done nor did he bother to see if the kitchen was left in a clean condition. Over the 4 days that he brought the 2 men at 9h00 and left at 13h30. Did not examine work, but abused us verbally when we questioned him about workmanship as frames were not properly prepared as advised by the paint co. We insisted that he bring the doors back by 18 Dec as kitchen was in a mess for the wedding. Took more money, .i.e. 66% of quote. Promised completion early Jan 2013.Never did. Doors were bad, returned many and asked to repaint. Returned doors 2nd week Feb. Did not paint frames or fit doors or handles, but charged for this. now costs us more to complete by others. 50% more.
