I had a blocked drain (only 1). Because of a gingle that's stuck in my head I phoned this company, I asked them for the pricing to unblock the drain. I was informed that the guys will come to site and give me a quote.
It was 14H00 in the afternoon, they guys came out and they quoted me R1435 to unblock the drain. Not knowing what this cost and because of the time and that it's just before Easter and I'm getting visitor, I accepted the quote. It took them 20 minutes to offload their exuipment and to do the job. After seeing what a simple job it is and after I paid them I phoned the office and spoke to the manager, because I really felt that the price was unfair for such a quick job. He had the "take it or leave it" attitude. When I told him that I feel I should report it to the National consumers commision, he told me that I can try, previous people did try and nothing came of it. This is arrogant. I feel we the consumers must stand together and not make use of companies with this attitude.
