Sunday 10/3, blocked drain. Called ARM, the cost, R1400.00 Excl VAT and labour was Confirmed. Two men arrived on property and started unblocking the drain. About an hour later it seemed that the drain was unblocked. The one gentleman said that if there is roots in the pipe the pipe has to be replaced because it was damaged. No evidence of any damage to the drain or sewerage pipe was observed and no investigation was conducted by the company to confirm this. Thursday night 14/3, it seemed that the drain was blocked again. I phoned the company on Friday morning to ask if they could come and look at what was going on. I was informed very rudely that I must read my Invoice, which states that they do not guarantee the work when the pipes were damaged, I must also pay another R800.00 for them to put down a camera to investigate the problem. I refused as I think there should have been some sort of after sales service. We eventually called another company that unblocked the drain, with no problem on the pipes or sewerage system. The cost me an extra R800.00. ARM Plumbing and Electrical in my view did not do performf the work the first time round properly.
