Received an email from this "so called" mining company regarding job opportunities in Ghana. Been working in West Africa and at first did not find the email strange at all. Then everything happened very fast. Documents went back and forth. On requesting company information as nothing on internet or from locals in Ghana could be found regarding this company, whoooops all the emails stop. Suddenly the job offer disappeared. No courier fee needs to be paid when going to work overseas. Job offer can be send via email and signed if in agreement. Plain ticket is not needed. Flight number, booking (ticket) no and passport is sufficient to get you on the plain. You don't need the actual ticket. And visa can be collected from the embassy or a local legal firm / correspondent. If they are an international company, the must have these in place.
On request that the fee be taken from my first salary... guess what??? NO RESPONSE
Correspondence from a reputable company is Ghana read as follows: "In respect of your question the is no such place as Immigration Consultancy Firm in Ghana called Michio Emerson Chambers in 15 Danie street, Teshie Etsor, in Ghana. It is non-existent."!!!
