In Nov 2013 I engaged the services of Douw Coetzee to repair 2 roof gutter joins that were leaking. Douw resealed the joins and at the same time cleared out the gutters, as per quotation provided. On 28 Dec, first rainfall after the repairs, I noticed that there was still a water leak at the one join. I sent Douw a pic to indicate that there was still a leak. He responded fairly quickly on the same day indicating that as soon as they reopened he will fix it. On Jan 15 I sent a reminder about the leaking gutter. 16 Jan he responded that he did not forget but was busy on another site. He would be out that Saturday or the following to repair. He did not pitch up the 1st saturday (18 jan) and it rained the following saturday. I contacted him 20 Jan emphasising that I would really want this fixed. His response was that he understood my concern and would have it sorted out. On the 30 Jan, having not heard from him in this time, I sent an email clearly voicing my dissatisfaction with the lack of integrity I was encountering. Sadly, as was expected, he has not responded and I doubt that he will. I am always keen to support the small business but he does not deserve support or referal
