I had my roof slab waterproofed by Revamp-it Wall and Roof Coating in November 2011. Three roof slabs were waterproofed with a 15 year guarantee. Around August 2012, I noticed roof leaks on two of the slabs, On 22/10/2012 I reported the problem telephonic-ally, and spoke to Salome. She asked me to write an e-mail, which I did on the 23/10/2012. I received an acknowledgement. I was asked to send a copy of the guarantee, copy of the invoice I was issued when the work was done, proof of payment, Completed questionnaire and inspection fee of R570. All these were done and sent on 23/10/2012. Since then to date nothing has been done in spite of several e-mails and telephone calls to Salome, the office manager. The only thing I get would be promises but no delivery. I was first told that the work will be done before 14/12/2012 before the company closes, which never happened. Again I was told that they are opening on the 21/1/ 2013 and they would contact me, which never happened. They fail to honour their guarantee and to refund my R570. Let the public be aware of this company. Their promises are worth nothing. I have to get another company to fix these leaks which Revamp failed to.
