During 2010 we undertook major renovations of our beach cottage at Onrus.
Through circumstances I heard that Lee Carpet & Blinds from Botriver provided and installed good quality wooden blinds at a reasonable prices. Our first order for blinds was delivered and installed in time albeit that the colour was not what we ordered but they could not install the pergola awning (for which a deposit was paid) in time for the 2010 holiday season.
The owner of the operation one Andre Jansen who personally dealt with us undertook to change the blades of the blinds at a reasonable price but had all kinds of excuses why he could not install the awning and basically blamed the manner in which the pergola was installed.
After that holiday season passed we had further renovations undertaken and asked Andre to remove the blinds but to hold back on the replacement thereof until after the painting of the interior of the house was completed. Some of the further renovations called for additional blinds (both vertical and horizontal) and we once again paid Andre a sizeable deposit therefor.
