I placed a add on Toodu (they do not have a complaint section) for home renovation
Mike Ellis contacted me and came to my property to qoute
I accepted the qoute 10/10/2012, It was stated that the project will start on the 15/10/2012 and will laste 3 weeks, I paid the R33000 deposite so they can start the project and a 10% draw every week there after
The first week was a slow start which is acceptable, but there after the excuse started there staff only showing up after 12pm due to transport and then they cant get supplies etc. Being naive I continued paying the draw every week, even giving them cash on a day to day basis for a week cause of a. At the point where I only had 10% of total left to pay I told Mike I cannot pay anymore draws as I would have no leverage if I was not satisfied with their work. At this stage I had to go to Durban for a week, at that point I was promised heaven and earth I would not have a problem getting them back to site, they still have not returned to site and it's been 2 months.
I have laid criminal charges against them, here I urge any other people that has issues with this company to comment on my report so we can retrieve our money togethe
