On calling electro surgeon to do a COC, they viewed my home, I then got a quote for nearly R3000 to do a coc certificate, saying some items were 'illegal' and plugs not earthed? which I new was a lie, no documents were signed by me at any stage... I queried this but they seems to think they can just charge the public what they like, I then consulting an electrician who did the COC without any extras... all plugs were earthed... no 'illegal' installations in fact it was 100% compliant... they now think I must pay them... Don't deal with these people I have reported them to the consumer council to investigate their quoting system and why they think they can charge what they like?
