I had a sunroom installed at my home during the winter months at a cost of R38 000. Thank that I held back R934 after a discussion with NHBRC. We have had rains since Friday and I have had a flooded house. I contacted Winston 3x already from Chameleon Skylights and Sunrooms as the floor has not been sealed where the pation doors were fitted, and the roof has many leaks. Water has poured through and this useless, sorry excuse of a human being refuses to fix this water problem. I found his company details in the Homemakers magazine. I am only prepared to pay the R934 when I am absolutely sure that the roof and the floor does not leak any water. This man was rude and abnoxious even offering me the details of Hello Peter and the Consumer Commission. Can somebody please assist further as my legal team has informed me to remedy the damage at my own cost and claim it back from Winson via the small claims court. Any other advice as to how I can proceed as I want to warn all consumers out there of this that performs sub-standard work and demands full payment without any remedy.
