Emi Logistics
EMI Logistics

As a resident and road user in a country where the road carnage continues unabated, I often report company vehicles being dangerously driven.

While looking for their contact details, I saw a complaint about 1 of EMI Logistics's drivers on this site, and after reading that report, decided to submit my own.

Two of EMI's large tipper trucks raced each other this morning on a busy public free way during peak hour, reaching speeds of up to 120 - 130 km/h (as briefly reached on my car's speedo check), and driving abreast, all where pedestrians are known to cross. I took both reg numbers down with the cell number on 1 of the vehicles, although the last digit was almost completely removed and took some guesswork.

Any involved business owner would have noticed that drivers try and obliterate contact details and should wonder why they do it. I contacted the owner, Moegamat Isaacs, and told him my story about his drivers. I observed that his diesel account must be high, and suggested tracking systems. He added they were supposed to travel at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, although there were no stickers to this effect displayed at the back of these vehicles.

Very irresponsible & dangerous!
