On 30 May Magic Doors installed a new double slatted garage door at my new house, stand 4826/2 Thatchfield Gardens The Reeds, Centurion.
When the building was completed, we found the door to be faulty. When closing, it opened again, leaving a 40 cm gap. When opening, it got stuck half way up. We also discovered afterwards the remote opens the door of the neighboring house!
I send E-mails to Paul Visagie on 29/8, 30/8, 6/9 and 20/9. We also phoned him on numerous occasions. All we received was empty promises. Finally I told him that I will refer the matter to an independent contractor and charge his company for costs.. I then commissioned BSS Basic services to do the job. They had to come in twice. Once for the faulty door and once for the faulty remote. The cost were R 1000.00. I forwarded the account to Magic Doors. Up to date I had no response from Magic Doors.
