In September 2011 my husband entered into an agreement with Ethekwini Maintance& Repairs cc to have our roof repaired since it was leaking. Christian said that we would need to change the old plastics and put new buttons to solve the problem. We paid him R25.000 as a deposit for him to start working of which he came with his guys. They "did the job" and we paid the balance since the total ammount was R33.000. To our greatest disappointment the roof was still leaking in some parts and new leaks had been created. We phoned Christian and he came back about 3 times but still the problem was not solved. He ended up being rude telling us that we must paint the roof to solve the problem. We went for 3 other opinions and they mentioned nothing about the roof painting being the solution but instead spotted the lousy job done by Christian and his company which would cost us R14.000 more to rectify his lousy job.
