Don't get taken for a ride by the [URL Removed] as we have been. We recently requested a quote from the Dampen who promptly send out an engineer to the situation. He promised to forward a quote by the end of the following day. More than a week later the quote - a one liner with no breakdown arrived. The issue as explained to the company was quite dire and when requesting their assistance., we were promised prompt service. Red lights should have gone on at this stage, when sending through a simple costing/quote took the company more than a week. As there was no breakdown of the various components and no proper description we then requested a breakdown to make sense of the quote. Once again it took the company more than a week to respond. We're now half-a-month into from an urgent problem to Dampen dragging their feet. But of course worse was to come. The response was curt to the point of being rude - 'sorry but we won't give you a breakdown as the R20, 000 value is too low for us to even justify a breakdown. Take it or leave it. We decided to give the company the benefit of the doubt and accepted. Only now to be told they soonest they can do the job is in 5months time. Pathetic
