I bought a bunk bed for over R7000 from little dreams, it was delivered on Fri 30-08-13, I then hired people to asseble the bed as the company does not assist in that regard. We found a part that had a big chip (damaged), after more than 3 hrs of working we find that the bed has a Factory fault & therefore not possible to fully assemble. I sent detailed e mails with pictures of the chipped part and the faulty ones. After a lot a back and forth and rude people and even rude manager on the phone. I was told that 1. Their only responsibility is to re send good parts. 2. I was told I would have to re wrap the faulty one for them to collect (we are talking huge parts).3. I was told they are not responsible for me seeking a 3rd party for assistance, let alone paying them. 4. The time waisted is none of their concern and that their only obligation is to "correct" their mistake, however their mistake costed me money and time... the least they can do is get people to come and assemble the 2nd bed as the have showrooms in JHB as well but they flatly refuse to offer any kind of help. The manager I spoke to was not only rude, he was full of sarcasm and his tone was patronising & disrectful.
