Bought property at emfuleni golf estate only to find out we have been hoaxed, the property flooded at first sight of rain, inadequate elec supply, roads are not to specifications and beyond maintenance, storm water not built, people lost there life at the bridge crossing at the gate (no barriers) no contract in place for a registered hoa, the claimed management take baloon payments for new sevices eg new fences, access systems etc paid and dont receive the service, expecting to pay levies for proper management only to find out they (hoa) owe the golf course owner hundreds of thousands of rands of which we might have to pay. The problem is our property is depreciated in value. Now we need to spend thousands of rands on legal fees. The municipal manager is the next stop and the consumer court and every other body governing and regulating such activities, dont forget the non compliant developer, as a consumer and property keeper how sad that a project should fail. The management and residents are going to be in great despair once the iron curtain is lifted. Good luck we luckily invested in developments like sanlameer, suncity etc we will recover good luck.
