One month to fix a three month old compresso

I bought a new compressor in April and by July it had problems already.
I took it back on 11 July, only to be told that it will take a month (21 working days). I use that compressor in a small business and I think that 1 month is too long as the supplier is based in Midrand, not in Durban, or South America.

The staff there were trying to persuade me to take the compressor myself to Midrand but I think that is their responsibility as the compressor is still under the warranty.

What is the reason for such a long lead time just to Midrand?

I am deeply disappointed by the service I received.
