Poor quality rubber doormats - supplier blames the

We purchased Matoc rubber doormats from a local Benoni hardware store. They began to fall apart after a few weeks. We emailed Matco to complain about the quality. They emailed a reply telling us we were wrong to use domestic grade at the front doors of our house and our home office, telling us to buy industrial grade. I have since observed that the Matco industrial grade used at shops etc also has a poor life, and even new Matco mats in the hardware stores have cracks in the rubber. We emailed back telling them that the problem is the mat quality, not the usage. They have not responded.
