Took my faulty Sony VAIO laptop in to Rectron (only repair centre in Gauteng) on a Friday. They suggested I leave it there and collect again late on Monday. I explained that I use the laptop for work but was due to go on leave on Wednesday. Made arrangements with Moses (Service Desk) and Tisetso (Repairs) that I take the laptop in early on Wednesday and collect again on the following Tuesday morning (it was also long weekend but still left them 2 full days to diagnose). As arranged, I collected first thing Tuesday morning. NOTHING had been done. No diagnostic, no repair, no comment, no feedback. I was told by Moses that Tisetso would contact me to discuss. Up until now, absolutely NOTHING.
As the official after sales service and repair centre for Sony you certainly do not know anything about service.
Sony - this is the second hardware manufacturing issue I am encountering and now NO service from YOUR service centre.
