Pathetic next business day repairs

I logged a service call with Dell on the 16th October 2013 as my Dell started getting undone at the screen base and the microphone stopped working.
They went thru everything and after an hour I sent them pictures
They then came back and said that it will be replaced as per my warranty next business day
At the end of the call I was holding on while they checked for stock

After stock was confirmed they said the engineer will come out to my house the next day to fix and gave me a twitter handle (I don't use twitter) to stay in contact
The entire day I sat home waiting for the engineer to give me a call at least to say when they will be coming
At 3 pm I contacted them on twitter asking if they will still come with a response that it will not be that day (1 day wasted)

At the end they said there was no stock and I just had to wait and that they doing everything possible to help
It has now been over 2 weeks so my patience has run out
I cannot see how next business warrantee can take more than 2 weeks
I have now been unable to use skype (needed for business) in over two weeks
and a broken screen border that I have to handle like a baby otherwise the entire laptop will break
