I recently bought my son a laptop for his studies, 1 of the features was a spill resistant keyboard and low and behold he spilled a drink on it. Took it back to the shop who then sent it to Fujitsu. The report came back that it is
liquid damage (more than spill resistant) and will not be covered by the warranty. A quote of R7641, 38 was then issued to me and the laptop only cost R5000 brand new. I got no joy with Fujitsu as they cannot tell me who defines what is the measurement of a spill. Just another corporate profit hungry company with no concern for any of the people buying there products.
