I saw an advert on MyBroadband that said for a limited period I could buy Windows 8 Pro for R299. I need to buy 2 licences and attempted for 3 hours to do it today. The updgrade assistant stopped after checking my PC. I called Microsoft support and they tell me that I cannot buy Windows 8 in South Africa online even though Microsofts own web site says I can. Either the marketing department and the web site of Microsoft are lying or the support people at Microsoft do not have a clue. You cannot speak to someone from South Africa no matter how much you beg. It is someone from India and no other choice. This is woeful support for someone who would like to buy a product.
