As a first time buyer at Shoe city I am deeply disappointed and grieved in the quality of boots I purchased which motivated me to somehow express how I feel about it after three months.
Early in July I bought me a pair of men’s boots at one of your branches. I bought these boots for protection in the cold and rainy weather we experience during winter months. To my surprise after wearing it thrice the boots soles started to get loose. Not wanting to be one of those complaining customers I went to the nearest store and bought some glue.
In all honesty I’ve glued it more than once now and the problem still remains, I’ve decided no more playing Mr Shoe Maker. These boots are crap and I paid hard earned money for it. In the end I had to wear my old shoes for winter as I could not afford to buy myself another pair of boots again. As always I kept my receipt which will be attached but I really want to bring it to your attention that if you as a company wants to keep your good reputation, selling these type of shoes is really going to bring your name down.
Make no mistake, I don’t want any compensation for money lost in these trying times whilst we are battling to stay employed during Covid 19 but I feel I want to make it clear that I wont be recommending anybody I know to Shoe City. It might sound ridiculous because its only a shoes but how many people bought these boots only to end up just like I did, so I guess its about the principle of selling good, reliable stock to your consumers that will carry your name on for years to come.
