I was gobsmacked at the level of service I received from this youngster. I went to put fuel in my car. Khumalo approached me and asked if he could be of assistance.
While he was putting fuel in my car, he asked me if he could check my oil and water. I told him not to worry, as I was fairly certain it would be okay. However noting, ( and commenting) on the fact that I was a female travelling alone, and that my car is fairly old, he insisted on checking the oil, water and tyres, as he did not want me to get stuck somewhere. Where do people stil care like that?
He then asked me if I had 2 minutes as he wants to clean my front and rear windshields. After I thanked him, he ran away to go and assist someone else while yelling over his shoulder "thank you 'mam, drive safely 'mam, I love you 'ma..."
All I can say is THANK YOU Khumalo!!! You surely put a smile on my face.
I really hope that his employers would congratulate him on his good service, and fantastic attitude, and that they will look after him, there are't many workers like that...
