I purchased two of those sms cars through "Drive Car Sales" at Silverlakes Pretoria. You sms a code to a code to a number and then they contact you to sell a car to you. The advert on the cars say "New car for R499.00 or R799.00 per month". This is absolutely false advertising because you never get a car for that price! They get all your details, do not communicate with you to ask what car you want or colour or anything and the next thing you get is a sms to say that your car is ready to be delivered. They also do not tell you to make sure that when you upload your monthly photo's to be reimburse the advertising money that you have to make sure that your photo's are not too big. I have tried to upload photo's several times and then their web site does not work!!! I have purchased the cars in August last year and had to go to their offices every single month to sort out non payments or web site problems. I was so sick and tired with their whole system that I traded the one car in to get rid of it! the problem was that all the finance costs was included and the trade in amount for the car and settlement was approximately R50 000.00 more. So effectively I made a loss of R50 000.00!
