On the 1st of April 2013 the sunroof on my KIA Rio cracked while i was driving and the glasses fell onto the car. Then on the 2nd of April i took the car to the dealer since it was still under warranty. I was then told that the warranty department will investigate what happened and give feedback after 2 days. I kept on calling KIA after two days to get a feedback and every time i called i was told am not allowed to speak directly to the Warranty department. I waited the whole week for the feedback and i got none.
Then on the 8th of April i sent an email to the management team of KIA informing them of my intention to take the matter to the ombudsman. That's when i received an email from a guy called Mark via Elna Venter to say that the decision was taken 5 minutes after seeing the car. My question is: when did the investigation take place if the decision was taken 5 minutes after seeing the car? No one contacted me to find out what happened in order to get an assessment for the decision. Why did it take them a push to give me feedback?
This incident made me regret ever buying a KIA vehicle, they don't care about their customers all they care about is money.
