Failure to refund deposit

My wife and I booked a car from 1st Car Rental on the 11 March this year. We took the car back early but to date have not received our refund deposit of around R7k. We are now being charged the interest on the credit as well as the credit card being maxed. The call centre agents directed us to another number, but when we call we get told by the agent that they cannot get hold of someone called Michelle. I was told that only one person can do the refund. All I got was a bad attitude and I could not even get to talk to the agents manager!
