I took my 23 seater VW LT46 bus to Barons VW N1 city Goodwood to have it checked out due some diesel leaks and vehicle not pulling that well. I got a call from them indicating they have to replace some diesel pipes and there are corrosion on the ECU.I told them go ahead replace the pipe and clean the ECU.They phoned me again to say the the vehicle did not want to start after the repairs were done the wiring on the loom must be replaced I told them go ahead still the bus did not start, I loged 3 complaints with VW South Africa and also Barloworld SA at that time because the bus were standing already 3 weeks by them, I had no response from VW-SA or Baloworld SA.I went to Barons and spoke to the manager Ryan Potgieter and explained I need the vehicle he asked the technicians Wayn an Bradley if any pins were off in the ECU or any dry joints they replied no. The next day we are now at week 4 I got a call indication that there were 3 pins broken in the ECU and the cost is R5, 300 and they wanted me to pay for it, i could not believe what these people wanted me to do.
After 5 weeks i got the bus back they paid for the ECU repairs they say but the vehicle still not pulling like it should bad se
