Went to kia on the 01/03/13, paid a holding deposit of R5000 for a 2013 cerato, went back home contacted insurance companies, decided insurance was too high so I went to kia on the 02/03/13 less than 24hrs and decided to cancel the deal the sales men says don't worry ill drop of the cheque the next day, cause he told me that this holding deposit is refundable, he calls me later that day to inform me that there is a problem... management doesn't want to return money, speak to the dealer priciple he says he is refusing to return money cause I put an offer to purchase, and that I should go ahead and report it to the motor industry ombutsman, so in other words its company policy for KIA to... bad business and marketing strategy from kia will never do business with them again, currently persuing legal action, the dp informs me that if I take a vehicle from them then only will they return it, any vehicle even a 2nd hand one, be careful of KIA they see nothing of. Cause its their company policy, and its so sad cause I really did like the cerato and was planning on saving up a bigger deposit to lower installments, very unprofessional.
