I moved from CT to Gordons Bay on Friday 1 March and had a contract for the removal of my goods via closed truck. On the day of the move 4 of their personnel arrived with a bakkie and trailer, the trailer already loaded with 2 mattresses they got for free from another client, taking up space I paid for.
Chips of wood have broken off an antique armoire, a metal kitchen bin severely dented, my white couch heavily soiled, probably being put next to a plant, not even covered with anything, lamp shades bent, scratches on wooden table. With everything offloaded, the men wanted me to go to the bank to give them money, after I have made my payment already, for themselves and when I told them I do not have any more cash on me, they asked me could I not go to the bank.
I have sent them emails with photos of the damaged goods - 4 times already - no reply. I phoned them 4 times asking them what kind of compensation they can give me, and they insist on having my complaints emailed, which I did, but for some reason they imply it is not reaching them.
Never again will I make use of their services!
