On Thursday, 24 January, my husband went to the Shell at Samrand to fill R200 petrol. He swiped with my debit card and their machine said declined, even though I had thousands in my account and the sms came through from my bank saying that the purchase went through. He was forced to draw money and pay R200 cash and the petrol manager at the station said that they will reverse the payment to my account and it will be done in 48 hours. Up till today, still nothing has been done.
