Imperial Honda
Misleading sale

16th Feburary 2012 we bought a second hand Toyata Verso from Nicholas, the dealer at Honda Imperial, Northcliff. We signed a OTP on the car the 14th of Feb that gave us 48 hours to decide if we want to buy. The 15th of Feb, Nicholas phoned us that he priced the car wrong and that there is a buyer standing with cash in his hand with R15 000 more that he price he gave us. He said that if we want the car, they are not going to repair any of the scratch marks on the car. He told us that it was a 2007 model and according to our research it was a good price for the mileage.

When we arrived home we had to make further expenses of R3000 to repair all that was wrong with the car. We then realized that we were under false information regarding the car year and that it was a 2006 Model and that the price we paid without the damaged repaired was actually overpriced. We then contacted the dealership and complained. They agreed that we were to and asked what they can do? We just asked them to refund the extra expenses that we had to make.

It is one year later and after many phone calls, emails and empty promises we are still waiting for the refund.

This is shocking.
