None delivery on tyres

On 15th December 2022 I made a call to TWT, Bloem Megapark store. I spoke to Shaun Botha, requesting a quotation for new continental tyres, size (4 X 225/60R17). The gentlemen gave me the price and even send me a written email. When we initially spoke I told him I am replacing my mothers tyres, since it December and she will taking long trips. He told me that after a payment is made, tyres will be ordered and will be available the following day. I made the payment on 16 December 2022, hoping that by Saturday it would be cleared on their side.

I even send them an email, stating that the payment was made and requested when can we come for fitting, but no response was received. On the 20th December I made a follow-up email, which they did not respond to. I therefore made a call to him, he is now saying he didn't say I should pay and that the agents is busy sourcing the tyres. I must wait for the agent to get those tyres.

As I have indicated before, the tyres are for my mother and she will be taking long trips. I believe this is infare treatment from the company, they should have indicated that I will wit longer than expected.
