Misuse of my car for 7000 km whilst on repair by Honda Hatfield

I purchased my Honda CRV 2.0 Comfort from Volvo Silverlakes in September 2019 with a 105500km odometer reading. I took the car in for 120000km service in February 2020 & could not use it much due to lock down restrictions. On the 10th October 2020 as I was driving the car it started displaying signs of water, oil, etc. I stopped at the nearest Engen Garage where they found the oil dip stick melted and no water in the radiator - but that lead to the engine breakdown. On Monday 12th I took the car in for repairs and in the process enquired from Honda SA to help me trace the mechanical history of the car. Zoleka who responded to my query was never able to provide me with that information but instead updated me about the progress made with the repair of my car. My car cam back from repairs in February 2021 and I drove it for about 1990 km when I realised that oil was still heavely used up by the car. Honda Hatfield suggested that they take it in for further repairs. From April up to mid July the car was with them and no clear account of the status of the car could be given until 12th July when told that my car was ready for collection. When I collected and drove the car on the 15th July 2020 I realised that the car was driven for more than 7000km, it was dirty with slips of monies borrowed from one of the loan companies, had a rear dent, etc. Honda Hatfield took in the car for the repair of the dent and other things, and also a free car service but no explanation was given on what actually happened with my car nor had I given consent for my car to be driven to this extent. Instead a woman called Cynthia was bold to write me an WATTSAPP message to say she is the one who gave such authority without my knowledge. I referred the matter again to Honda SA and the very same Zoleka who couls not help me with my first query could not help me even with this matter and no written response could be provided despite my persistent requests for such up to date. The performance of the car was no longer good at all and my fear was that I was going to spend more money on this car and Honda SA was just not helping on the other side. When I referred the matter to the Ombudsman he stated that I have lost the case as I had sold the car and advised that I take the legal route as the matter is no longer within their jurisdiction. Is this how the motor industry operates or is this just a Honda unethical and unprofessional manner of dealing with clients cars and financial disruptions? An advice from any one who can help me as I suffered a great loss when selling my car will be highly appreciated. Cell no (27) 082 903 4892 South Africa
