Budget holds deposit indefinitely?
They make it:
Easy to book.
Easy to pay.
Easy to pick up.
Easy to hold your deposit.
Easy to be invoiced.
But try and phone them for your deposit back and good luck there.
Our car was returned on Monday morning in Port Elizabeth and by Friday our money
has still not been refunded.
City of johannesburg has a better call centre than budget. They only make it easy for you when its in their interests. We have no idea when the deposit should be returned as its impossible to contact anybody.
Our recommendation is if you can't afford to go without your minimun R5, 000 depsoit then rather not use budget.
