I bought my Volvo S40 from Volvo Hatfield about 8 years ago and now I am busy selling it to SMD I have been told that the vin number's last four digits do not correspond the one on the papers is 1622 and on the vehicle it is 6122.I tried to get them to sort it out as I believe it is not my fault but somebody typed incorrectly and now the car is with SMD for more than a month and they cannot pay me until SMD rectifires the matter with the traffic department and they will deduct R1800, 00 from the money offered to purchase. I belive that Volvo should pay the R1800, 00 not me, can somebody please help me.
