I purchased a Nissna Navara in 2010 and as part of the agreement a Bucco canopy was fitted. I was happy with the vehicle, but unhappy about the canopy which leaked in the front, rivets which kept on coming out and cracks that started to develop within a month or two. I was extremely unhappy and when I wrote to Nissan they put me on the the brach manager of Group 1 Uitenhage. He sorted out the matter and arranged for my bakkie to be fetched from my work, as the driving back and forth was taking a lot of my precious time, during our very busy period. The canopy was fixed- incidentally the supplier said I had taken the canopy off and have put it on skew and that is the reason for the cracks etc. I had never taken the canopy off as I had purchased the vehicle in September 2012 and have had no need to remove the canopy.
If this was not sorted I doubt if I would ever purchase a Nissan product again - even though it was a different supplier who supplied the canopy.
To Kobus and his team - thank you very much for sorting out the problem, getting back to me and fetching my vehicle when I was extremely busy and each hour counted for urgent work.
