Wallet, "Its your fault:

While on holiday in the Cape I had to have my car serviced and booked it in at Kia Summerset West. When I got the car back I found that all the cards had been emptied from my wallet and left behind the drivers seat, but the wallet was missing. It was then that I had realised I had left my wallet in the car, but the people services or cleaning the car had made off with my leather wallet and were "so very kind" to leave all my cards behind. Knowing I wont get it back I had called the dealership to make them aware of the incident and got "Its your fault, there is nothing we can do" as a response. I know there are signs all over and you sign to say that they will not be held liable for items that get left behind and go missing but the response from them was disgusting. People sometimes forget things, don't check as thoroughly as they should but mistakes happen and I honestly believe from the response from the dealership that taking things left behind from customers vehicles is a culture and one they are not keen on correcting.
