Please can someone advise on how to contact the motor industry Ombudsman?
I bought a car, using another as a trade-in, in November 2013. The car was delivered and the trade-in taken away. To date I have not received the transfer documents for the new car, nor the registration plates and documents. After asking again I was informed that they should be delivered mid-January - two months after the transaction.
Furthermore, the trade-in has not been paid for by this company, so I have now had two payments deducted from my account post the transaction.
To add insult to injury, the car leaked like a sieve on the day I got it (in a rainstorm shortly after delivery) and the first time I filled up I needed to add one litre of oil, although I had been assured that a service had been completed shortly before delivery - rather concerning since the car is supposed to be one year old!
Of course, emails to the F&I go ignored as do requests for the dealer principle details.
