I bought a second hand Chery Tiggo with approximately 140 000km on it from Chery Menlyn during December 2012, the sales manager was Jaco Prollius. Upon purchasing he undertook to service the vehicle as they was unable to furnish me with a service record. Upon inquiring when the service will be carried out he had various excuses. I refused to have the service done in my personal capacity as the quote I received was approximately R9 000.00. He furnished me with the parts for the service May 2013. I have driven the car until September 2013 when the vehicle was written of. The vehicle was standing on approximately 145 000km when it was written off. I approached Jaco and requested him to take the parts I haven't used and refund me as the packaging was still sealed. He undertook to refund me. I phoned him numerous times and every time he had an excuse. I went to the dealership to confront him, he requested my banking details to pay me the amount of R1 075.00. I waited more than a month and received no money. I phoned, spoke to the parts personnel who told me money was paid to Jaco who confirmed that he have the money I can collect it. He now refuse to pay me and claim the money is his.
