I booked my car in for a minor service at HYUNDAY MILNERTON on the morning of the 10th of December 2013. When I arrived at the Service Lane I noticed a large number of cars also booked in for a service on the same day.
I enquired how they are going to manage to service all the vehicles in one day and the technician replied that on some days they service an even greater quantity of cars.
After arriving to collect my car I noticed that the bonnet of the car was damaged and it was clear that some heavy piece of equipment must have fallen on the car as the bonnet was dented and scratched.
I just want to alert all Hyundai owners that when you check your car in and you sign the DEALER VEHICLE INSPECTION SHEET, insist on a copy of this document.
After signing the DEALER VEHICLE INSPECTION SHEET, and not receiving a copy of this document from HYUNDAY MILNERTON, the sheet was modified to indicate the damage inflicted by HYUNDAY MILNERTON themselves.
To provide the customer with a copy of the DEALER VEHICLE INSPECTION SHEET is not standard procedure with HYUNDAY MILNERTON and it clearly should be to prevent the occurrence of the exact incident I had to deal with.
At least if you have a copy
