I purchased a ford Figo in February 2011 from Action Ford Roodepoort. I have just under 30 000 km's on the clock and my car has been recalled for a second time.
When the car was first recalled the repairs were done on 26th September 2012, it was due to a power steering hose. 6 months later, on 26th March 2013 I returned the car back to the manufacturing because there was another manufacturing fault identified which was the power steering pump.
More than a year later, I am told that my car has been recalled again due to a suspected rear twist beam that has not been fitted correctly.
To my utter dismay, the part has been ordered but must still be delivered. I am sick and tired of this recall process because I do not feel safe driving that vehicle anymore.
This has impacted how i get to work, my productivity has reduced as I am constantly contacting the dealership to enquire on the progress of the order and when I can expect to have this fault repaired.
Extending the warranty on the vehicle does not guarantee my safety at all.
I've lost all confidence in this car and want a new vehicle!!!
