Randburg Movers were booked to move from household furniture for 9am on 29th November 2013.By 12h00, I hadn't heard anything and called Chantel who said that she was dreading calling me but they would probable only get to me after 14h30. I thought that this was too late and agreed that they could move me on Monday 2 December 2013 at 9h00.By 10h00 on Monday no sign still from of Randburg Movers. At 10h30 a 1 ton open flat van arrives with 3 movers. This was concerning since I booked a van that was supposed to be closed and at least 4 tons. The driver said that they would need to do at least 3-4 trips to get all my furniture to its destination. Also they would require at least 6 men to complete a job of this size. I was given a million excuses including that this was all they could offer given that 2 of their vehicles had broken down. I then overheard a conversation between Chantel and the driver where it was confirmed that they were understaffed. Given this information I couldn't trust the movers so requested that the service be cancelled and my deposit be returned. Several emails and calls later - I'm still waiting. It's unacceptable that such unprofessional behaviour is allowed
