Bought a Puzey scooter for my son's birthday. The first one they took of the floor the throttle stuck when they started it. That should have been a sign to run.
The first time my son tried the scooter it had no power.
I phoned puzey in randburg and they said I must bring it in. I explained I'm from the south of Johannesburg and it wasn't convenient. They said I should then take it to one of there "stockists" in alberton which I did.
After a few days I was informed that the scooter was working.
Every time my son road the scooter the chain needed adjusting and kept coming of the back sprocket. One of the rides ended with my son crashing into the side of the car after the throttle stuck wide open.
Eventually I had had enough and took the bike back to the alberton stockists to see what they could do about the chain needing adjusting and to sort the sticking throttle out. This was now 6 weeks after the original purchase.
Got scooter back after buying my own chain. Adjuster on chain was not correctly installed. Chain adjuster had been welded! Chain is now too short. Eventually took scooter to puzey in randburg. Was informed that I would have to pay for repairs! Attitude was shocking.
